TikTok data API pricing compared (2026)
Posts are published in English only. The rest of the site reads in ten languages; these do not, because a translated archive is one nobody keeps current.
TikTok has no public data API. The official Research API is limited to approved academic institutions, the Display API covers accounts that have authorised your app, and neither is a route to public data at scale for a commercial team. That leaves third-party providers, and this is what they charge.

Other providers' figures are their own published rates as at August 28, 2026, normalised to dollars per thousand results. They change often — check before you rely on them, and tell us if one is wrong.
Normalised to dollars per thousand results, with the date each was checked. These are cross-platform rates — most providers charge the same for TikTok as for Instagram, and where they differ it is usually TikTok that is cheaper, because its public surface is easier to read.
Why TikTok punishes per-request billing
TikTok's public data has an unusually wide spread in how much a single request returns. A video's comments can be four thousand or four. A hashtag can return a full page or almost nothing depending on how it is moderated in the region you are asking from. Sounds vary by orders of magnitude. Under per-request billing, that variance is entirely your problem: you pay the same for the four-comment video as for the four-thousand-comment one. Under per-result billing it is entirely ours. On Instagram the spread is narrower and the two models converge; on TikTok they diverge sharply, and almost always in the same direction.
Coverage is where providers actually differ
Rate matters less than most comparisons suggest, because the endpoints on offer are not the same. Almost everyone does profiles and video feeds. Fewer do comments properly with replies. Fewer still do sounds — and on TikTok, sound-level data is the single most useful thing available publicly, because a sound is the closest thing to a distribution mechanism you can actually observe. Before comparing prices, list the endpoints you need and cross off the providers that do not have them. That usually shortens the list more than the pricing does.
The things nobody can sell you
No provider has TikTok impressions, watch time, audience demographics, or completion rate for an account you do not control. Those are private analytics and they are not in the public surface at any price. If a provider's marketing implies otherwise, that is worth a specific question before a contract. The honest ceiling for public TikTok data is what a logged-out visitor can see, and everybody who is telling you the truth is working from the same ceiling.
What we charge
$0.50 per thousand results for lists — comments, followers, video feeds, search results, sound videos, hashtag results — and $1.00 per thousand for endpoints returning a single object. Seventeen TikTok endpoints, which is the deepest coverage of any platform in our registry, including sounds and hashtags. No subscription, no monthly minimum, credits that do not expire, and a run that returns nothing costs nothing. On TikTok specifically, that last clause is worth more than it sounds.
Try it on your own targets
The only comparison that settles anything is your own. A new account gets 1,000 credits, needs no card, and runs on the same endpoints and rate as a paying one.
